How to get a Cobble Crusher in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Oct 17, 2023

The Cobble Crusher is a weapon capable of destroying rocks with ease in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. And with so many caves that have rubble and rocks blocking the way, it quickly becomes an invaluable tool. Unfortunately, they’re a little trickier to find in comparison to some other weapons. Luckily there are a few spots that can guarantee you one. So, let's go through all the ways to get a Cobble Crusher in Tears of the Kingdom.

The easiest place to find a Cobble Crusher is just north of Goron City. We’re headed to the cliffs that are also north of Lake Darman. At the exact point of my current location on the map above you’ll find some breakable stone. Once you break this a chest will appear that contains a Cobble Crusher.

The next place to find a Cobble Crusher is located next to the mine cart track on Death Mountain. It's in a chest next to a few enemies, but you can just run in and loot the chest without fighting them.

The next-best place to find a Cobble Crusher in Tears of the Kingdom is in the Death Mountain Chasm. But before you come here you’ll want to make sure you own the Flamebreaker armor set. The Cobble Crusher is located on a small pillar in the southeast of the area. It's held by one of the ghosts that give you pristine weapons. And they’re a good way to get some formidable melee weapons so keep an eye out for them.

Elsewhere in Tears of the Kingdom, Cobble Crushers can occasionally be found in the hands of enemies. It's not super rare to see a Bokoblin wielding one around the Death Mountain region. But this isn't a very reliable way to get them. If you’re looking for other suitably massive weapons, try looking for the Biggoron's Sword.
